An observation of Australian-born artist Eastaugh at work. Surrounded by thousands of shipping containers and a crew of mainly Filipino and French sailors, the artist contemplates the Mare Liberum (the law of the free sea), the peculiar convention of FOCs (flags of convenience) and the intricate tangle of ropes and chains to be found on deck.
